Description: Extract from the Gaumont British production. The Man of Aran is seen with his two companions…Mikeleen is awakened by the sounds of the rising storm. Mideleen and his mother watch the flimsy craft battling for the shore. The men leap to safety but the sea drags the curragh boat back and smashes it. Man of Aran and his family return homewards.
