The portable wax tablets influenced the form of letters. The contribution of the Egyptians is evidenced through heiroglyphics (picture words), the first paper and pen. The step-by-step process of making both the papyrus paper, and reed pen are demonstrated. The letters of the Roman alphabet were spread throughout the world by the Roman empire.
