Making a wira

Description: Episode number 14 of Series “People of the Australian western desert (A)”. Djunjurai locates a suitable tree from which to make a small wooden digging dish or wira. He starts on the tree trunk by using the hand chopper he had made, but after a time changes to a metal axe. The raw material for the dish is brought back to camp where he shapes it with an adze.
