Observes the interactions as a high school marriage class pairs two seemingly incompatible students--Gail, a liberated intellectual, and Gary, a male chauvinist jock. Follows their growing and changing social attachments as they meet such class challenges as weekly budget planning, family planning and unexpected disasters. Deals with the underlying human relations problems and demonstrates that communication, patience, and a sense of humor help.
