Description: This sequel to Molly's pilgrim is another story about Molly, a Russian Jewish girl who is teased for her ethnic mannerisms. At school, Molly is hurt by the anti-Semitic remarks of a classmate but is excited at the prospect of going to her first birthday party. However, Molly's mother tells her about food restrictions during Passover and asks her not to eat any birthday cake. At the party, Molly is faced with the dilemma of whether to uphold Jewish law or disobey it in order to fit in. Unfortunately, her refusal to partake is misunderstood by the other partygoers. On the other hand, Molly's own birthday turns out to be a very special experience. Her parents and teacher plan a surprise party at which Molly's classmates dress in costumes that reflect their ethnic origins.
