events ever recorded one of the most dramatic upsets in boxing history took place at forbesfield Pittsburgh back in July 1951 when heavyweight champion ezard Charles met Challenger Jersey Joe Walcott for the world title Charles had already won two decisions against the Ageless Walcott in their previous title bouts as we pick up the fireworks on that hot July night the first four rounds were already history with neither fighter able to gain an advantage it's round five of a scheduled 15 rounder but both are capable of ending it a lot sooner won in the white trunks carries 12 more pounds went on to successfully defend his title against Charles almost one year later but Rocky Marciano ended wal Cut's short rain three months [Music] later N9 years later a great story was unfolding in the golf world as Arnold Palmer and kend Venturi wound up battling for the 1960 Masters Golf Championship Arnold Palmer the pre- tourney favorite held a slim one-stroke lead after 54 holes at the Indoor pull Bing record is determined to establish a new world record penel clears 15 ft with comparative ease the previous night at Detroit pel had a world record disqualified when his glass pole
