Description: Filmed at Louise Nevelson's 1970 exhibition, held at the Whitney Museum of American Art. Views of her sculpture are followed by an interview in which Nevelson describes the influence of Mexican art and cubism on her work and the transition from her all-black pieces as the "Architect of shadow" to white, to gold, and most recently, to the light achieved in her Plexiglas structures.
