Description: An ecological story of a Pacific slope river and the life which it supports. Follows a river as it wends its way to the ocean, showing how the environment, both in and near the river, is shaped and influenced by its existence. Pictures the life cycle of the Pacific salmon from egg through alevin and fry to adult fish, and includes views of wildlife as well as underwater photography of salmon and trout. Filmed on Vancouver Island.
