Complete Record: An Industrial film focusing on a Crane Co. factory, likely in Chicago, producer of pipes and pipe connectors. Opening with images from inside a factory and trains going by, the film follows with domestic scenes in a kitchen and bathroom, where Crane Co. products would be used. There is an image of the outside of the factory with its Crane Co. sign and clock tower. We see the various rooms inside the factory, such as a switchboard room, a stock room, a library or records room, a large office space, and a chemical workspace. Long trains arrive bearing scrap metal and cranes move the metal around. Trains arrive with other raw materials. Down in the furnace room, metal is turned molten and poured into molds of various sizes. Men and women are seen measuring finished products and women assemble small-scale objects along an assembly line. There is a brief scene of a man welding. The film closes with a visual overview of the various parts of the factory.
