[Music] the audiovisual medium can motivate what do we mean motivate we mean move audiovisuals can move a person almost in spite of himself now you may be saying no one can darn well move me if I don't want to be moved perhaps but let's experiment with the power of the medium right now this is a lemon slightly green fresh plucked from that lovely California Grove the juice is a little tart and as the knife slices into the fruit it squirts a bit and skits down the blade this is a juicy lemon and the Very SM smell of it tempts The Taste if you are like most people this lemon makes your mouth water almost in spite of yourself a response is stirred inside you you have been moved motivated so strong is the suggestion of this amazing medium we have no lemon here you see just a projector and a piece of film through which light is poured and sound is evoked
