Legault's Place

Story of an old, blind French-Canadian living in a Montreal suburb. At one time his cabin was surrounded by woods and fields, but now the city has engulfed him. Although his cabin is an eyesore, he refuses to sell until the city developers offer him what he considers a fortune. Legault is gently contemptuous of them for paying so much for his old shack; they are pleased to have acquired the property at a fraction of its modern value.
