Description: Dr. Lowell, of the 1890's, comes out of the past to see how all members of the Jones family work with the doctor and community in an organized fight against disease. The Jones baby receives regular examinations and immunizations. Routine check-ups in the school detect any hearing, vision, and dental defects in the older Jones children. By yearly examinations Granny Jones insures herself against neglected symptoms of tuberculosis, cancer, diabetes, and heart disease. Mrs. Jones fortifies the family diet with a planned variety of attractively prepared essential foods.
