Lascaux: Cradle Of Man's Art

Describes the discovery by two young boys of the cave paintings at Lascaux, on the Vezere River in southern France. In the cave at Lascaux, more than 500 paintings representing deer, bulls, and horses have been found. The meanings of symbols scattered among these drawings by Cro-Magnon men are discussed.
