Language of design

Description: Illustrates how Australian textile designers are finding inspiration from the local scene. Samples of sea shells, driftwood, dead twigs from a tea-tree, and other such mateerials collected on the Australian beach, are used in the studio to provide motifs for typically Australian textile designs. A series of such designs are effectively displayed by artistically draped samples.
