Complete Record: Shows Christmas celebrations in the Oaxaca region of Mexico, including folkloric dancers in vivid costumes, various customs of the region, students, and a marimba band. Musicians play xylophone. Mexican citizens walk at night in a large group with torches and lights towards a nativity scene. Shots of native plants and another nativity scene amongst them. Children in a school yard hit a Santa Clause piñata. Young children help their mother and father roll dough and shape them into balls. They flatten it out and fry it in a metal bucket and pan. Once it’s dry, they crack it into a bowl and sell it at a both at a festival. At the festival, musicians stand on a stage in elaborate costumes and play string instruments. A parade takes place on the street. People in costumes hand out candy. Fireworks.
