La Cucaracha

This short subject was the first three-color-film of a dramatic subject. It was photographed in the 35mm three strip technicolor process. It marked a unique collaboration of artist, designer and technical staff to introduce the dramatic use of color. The story is a romantic comedy featuring quasi-Mexican singing and dancing.
