Summary: Several Native Americans are in a municipal court building waiting around in the hallways. In a brief interview, Joan Anderson, likely a lawyer, states they plan to request a continuance and she has no statement at this time. Footage includes people, many of them Native American, waiting in hallways, entering a courtroom and Anderson and several Native Americans looking at the arrest report in the hallway.

[Group chatter]. [Unidentified woman] Really? We were going to stop, I mean... it's still coming? [Woman on left] Southwestern [unintelligible] because I went down there [unintelligible]... [Unidentified man] How many are we getting away? [Group chatter]. [Reporter] ... chambers, please. [Joan Anderson] Oh, I haven't been in chambers. [Reporter] You haven't talked to the judge at all? [Anderson] No. [Reporter] What are your plans for this morning? [Anderson] Well, we're gonna request a continuance for the trial to go up to another day. That's all that's gonna happen today. [Reporter] That's all. Are you going to handle this any special way? In any... [Anderson] We haven't decided yet. We don't know yet. [Reporter #2] Have you volunteered your services on this case? [Anderson] Uh...it's not clear who'll be working on the case right now. We're trying to get a number of lawyers interested in it. [Reporter #2] Your name, please? [Anderson] Joan Anderson. [Reporter #2] Any ideas as to a defense? [Anderson] No. People haven't made up their minds yet. We are in the process still of trying to decide who will handle the case and how it will be handled. So we have no statement to make at this point. [Group chatter]. [Anderson] We got one copy of it so someone should either make a bunch of other copies? Or make sure this copy, you know, is available.
