Description: This silent color gag film "Koenig's Krowded Korner" is a comedy about parachuting made under the auspices of the U.S. Navy's Aerospace Recovery Facility / Parachute Test Range at El Centro, California. It was made in January 1967, although we don't know by whom, possibly Richard Solewin who is mentioned in the credits. Opening: A disclaimer opens the film. A Prank Production - Koenig's Krowded Korner or Bill's Life at KNARF (:15). (NARF was the name for the Naval Aerospace Recovery Facility. A knarf however is synonymic for "slave boy" or internship business development wannabe, responsible for printing supplies.) United States Navy Aerospace Recovery Facility Sign (1:57). A woman enters an office and sets some items up (2:11). A male astronaut enters the office and the two look at one another (2:46). The man makes a phone call at the desk (3:20). The astronaut is done with the call, gets up and leaves the desk (4:30). The astronaut walks around outside (4:48). Men dressed in red jumpsuits, some with parachutes stand around (5:08). Each jumpsuited individual is shown as the astronaut talks at them (5:32). One older man wears a United States Navy pilot's helmet (5:51). The astronaut returns to his office and makes a phone call (6:34). The astronaut starts to clean his shoes (7:31). A woman enters the office (7:40). The astronaut puts on a heavy backpack (containing a parachute), grabs a helmet and leaves the office (7:58). The woman races outside to wave and get the man's attention, she's holding a bag, apparently he's taken the wrong bag. The man is gone so she shrugs and walks back inside (8:47). A plane takes off down a runway (9:08). The astronaut leaps from the plane in the sky with the wrong parachute pack on and hurtles towards the ground (9:14). The man floats towards earth and checks his watch, opens the pack but stuff falls out (9:43). The man cleans his shoes in the air (9:57). A title cards asks for a commercial to be placed here (10:20). A desert, trees, and a palm tree. A man looks in the sand(10:31). A woman looks at a horse (11:09). Title card for the B.S. Foundation (11:25). The astronaut lands on the ground as his parachute is stuck on a wire (11:48). The man pulls his parachute free from the wire (12:30). The woman places something on the man's desk as he returns with his parachute (13:10). The astronaut gets out of his jumpsuit (13:46). He puts on a red jumpsuit and parachute pack (14:00). He picks up the phone, leaves the room and returns quickly (14:54). The astronaut guy is home making food; he flips burgers repeatedly with a spatula (15:23). The woman shows up and is annoyed as she points out the time (15:43). The guy jumps up and down in a tantrum (16:00). End credits (16:25).
