Description: Original camera footage edited for broadcast for KNTV San Jose Channel 11 news. Includes national, local, and sports coverage. The broadcast script for this date has not survived. Reel 1: Segment 1 (sound): Law enforcement being interviewed about search for a Max Fisher. They have a warrant for arson on him, and also suspect foul play in the disappearance of his wife. They've investigated sites in San Francisco, and taken blood samples, but they have no leads, and they believe Fisher is an alias. Segment 2 (sound): On the street interviews in downtown San Jose asking people whether they support a nurses strike. Three people are interviewed, and they all support the nurses right to strike. Segment 3 (silent): California Highway Patrol officers on the side of a rural road looking down into a ravine. Shots of them walking slowly along the shoulder of the road looking for something, one of them picks something up. Cars going by with shot of CHP motorcycle parked on side of road. Reel 2: Segment 1 (silent): African American students drawing and painting around a large table. Segment 2 (silent): Crowded, dimly lit hallway, with people waiting to get into an auditorium. Exterior shot of the back of a building that people are waiting to enter. Exterior shot of front of building, a one-story commercial building with parking lot in front, traffic going past. Reel 3: Segment 1 (sound): Man with thin mustache speaking at a podium at Rickeys Hyatt House in Palo Alto about the applications for a new form of concrete (?). He says they anticipate it will find uses in things like swimming pool decks, patio decks, decorative wall paneling, building components, and especially water transportation and irrigation pipes. "Mr. Seymour is starting out with a group of about 40 people, but I expect by the end of next year he'll be in the range of maybe 200.." Another man brings in a cross section example of a pipe. Segment 2 (sound): Man in laboratory demonstrating some form of plant irrigation. A second man is interviewed by Dennis Rowedder and asked whether this will revolutionize farming industry. Man says it could, depending on outcome.
