Segment 1 (silent): Two-day conference at Stanford University on East-West relations concludes, with afternoon panel session in the university's Dinkelspiel Auditorium. Among panelists was Stanford Political Science professor Dr. Milorad Drachkovitch. Exterior shot of the building; interior shots of half empty auditorium, speaker at the podium, and panelists on stage. Segment 2 (silent + sound): Specialist Four Milton B. Fulman of Santa Clara awarded medal for heroism in ceremonies at Ford Ord, for evacuation of 10 wounded men under fire, despite being wounded twice during the process. Fulman is interviewed by Dennis Rowedder and describes the battle in War Zone D north of Bien Hoa, where they were outnumbered by Viet Cong. Segment 3 (sound): Shots of the construction site of massive, six-million dollar Santa Cruz County government complex on site overlooking San Lorenzo River. Dennis Rowedder interview with Project Supervisor William Shafer, who says the total amount of concrete will include 14,000 cubic yards. The building will be five stories plus a penthouse to hold equipment and controls, and building is scheduled to be completed September 1967.
