Young man, possibly a defendant or a witness, enters the courtroom, and is seated with a guard next to him. Other defendants are seen covering their faces. Segment 2 (silent): Judge Joseph P. Kelley's courtroom, Earl Sears murder trial. Sears enter the room with his defense attorney. Prosecuting attorney in bow tie. People filing out of the courtroom. Segment 3 (sound): Interview with San Jose State football coaches about the team's performance in the latest game. Segment 4 (sound): High school girls playing flag football on a field near Soquel, California. Shots of the two teams playing, then a small group of students doing a cheer, with some of the boys wearing dresses. "Victory, Varsity, Soquel High!" Dennis Rowedder then interviews a girl named Jane, who is in uniform. He says it's unusual for girls to play football. Jane responds, "It's unusual here, but in the Bay Area it's a big sport.
