He's asked if there were any priests who refused to sign the telegram, and he said there were a few priests who are uncomfortable making public statements, or who just aren't used to taking public stands. He's also asked if any of his parishioners give him criticism for his work with the civil rights movement and the farm workers movement, and he says that some of them do disagree with his political activism, and also some disagree with the Catholic Church's and Vatican's stand. Reel 4 (silent + sound): Monterey reporter Dennis Rowedder interviews the captain of a boat that crashed on the rocks in Monterey Bay and was rescued by the Coast Guard. There are shots of the remains of the boat in the water, a Coast Guard boat approaching the shore, the rescued crew being taken on shore, a woman drying her hair.
