One half of the shoplifterss arrested are teenagers. [Music] They seldom steal because they need something. Most have the money to pay. Their reasons are often emotional. Pressure from their friends may be a dare. Sometimes it's a need for recognition, an urge to call attention to themselves. Or perhaps it's just for kicks. The idea of challenging the store and its staff. [Music] But whatever the reasons, a shoplifter is still a thief. [Music] [Applause] [Music]
