There's something funny going on around here. Kids are disappearing. Kids just like you or maybe your best friend. They're disappearing right off the streets. And no one seems to know why. But maybe if we keep our eyes and ears open, we'll find out. [Music] [Music] [Music] Careless kids get gut. Careful kids do not. I want me a careless kid to grab. A careless kid to [Music] grab. [Music] Well, well, as you can see, there are some strange things happening here. And something tells me poor Tommy isn't the first to fall prey to the kid grabber. [Music] [Applause] That's better. You're supposed to be quiet. You were careless. Get in there, Tommy. Let me go. Get a look ways before you cross the street in front of the school bus to see if any cars were coming. Let me go. I want to go home. None of you can go home. You are here forever because you were. [Applause] [Music] That's better. What did they do, Mr. Grab Kits? What did they do? They were careless in traffic and we got them with the kid grabber. I use it to cruise the streets looking for careless kids and there's plenty of them. There are Oh yes. Oh yes. Every day kids are careless. Hundreds of them. They come from everywhere. They come from mountains, in the deserts, in the oce with cities, small towns, farms. But just one mistake. [Applause] The kidnapper gets them. Sometimes it bumps them around a little and bruises them. It breaks them. Yes, Mr. Grab Kids. Lucky ones managed to get away. But the unlucky ones, we throw them in here like these forever. They just stay here. right here. They can't play. They can't read. They can't hug their parents. They can't even go to school. And there is no vacation here. That's terrible. And they must be quiet at all times. Forever. Oh yes, forever. When the kid grabber gets them, it's a lot longer than tomorrow. Come, I'll show you around. Oh, it's fun, fun, fun. The gravitated run. Of course, we get a lot of our kids new school buses like Tommy over there. For instance, here's Jimmy. Actually, her parents were careless, too. They dropped her off on the other side of the street from the bus. And Julie was in such a hurry to get out of the car and cross the street that she forgot to look. And we were right there. Her parents should have dropped her off on the same side of the street as the school bus. Or she could have reminded them, but it doesn't matter whose fault it was, as long as we get the kid. Here's Billy. He ran into the street between two parked cars. That's something he should never do. He should have gone to the corner and crossed the street from there. He sure was dumb. He never even tried to look for us. He sure was careless. Here's Suzy. She did some things right. She looked all four directions, waited for the fresh green light, waited for the car to stop, and made sure the driver saw her. But she did one thing wrong. And that's all it takes. She should have looked around the first car to see if another car was coming, but she didn't. And the kid grabber got her. Now Suzy will be with us forever. Sometimes you have to trick them. Like how? Like throwing a Frisbee. Just let it sail through the air right in front of the kid grabber. And when a kid runs out of the street to without looking first. Sounds like you keep pretty busy. Oh, yes. We've got plenty to do. There's lots of careless kids out there. Don't you get tired? Tired? I never get tired of grabbing kids. Watch the kid grabber gobble them up. I never get tired of that. Are all kids careless like that, Mr. Grab Kids? It's Oh no. Unfortunately, there's a lot of smart kids out there that still know how to have fun and be careful. But we'll get there. We'll keep trying. And when they get careless, in fact, I'm going out right now and get me a smart kid. I'll show [Music] you. I get a lot of kids when it's dark. Like in the morning when the school starts in the fall. A rat. Those kids made sure to wear something white or light colored and they're off the road facing the traffic coming toward them. I'm going to give it a try anyway. Someone just might care. [Music] These smart kids, they always look in all directions before they step into the street. Aha! That one doesn't see me. There we [Music] go. Aha! Oh! Oh, those kids are watching the signal light to make sure it's green. They're watching the traffic and making sure the drivers can see them. I think they see me. Oh, well, maybe one of them. [Applause] [Music] Oh no, those kids made sure their parents dropped them off on the same side of the street the school is on or the same side of the street the buses parked. Yeah, some kid might get careless. I've got to take a chance. I know one of those smart kids will make a mistake. I know he'll do it this time. I know. [Music] Boy, those smart kids sure were careful. Don't remind me. I don't want to talk about it. Look, we have the kid grabber going everywhere. We have it cruising the mountains and the plains and the beaches and everywhere. You sure are determined, Mr. Grab Kids. It's I certainly am. We're going to go out and get one of those smart kids. The ones that are always so careful. I'll get one. Wait and see. [Music] Kids do not. I'm going to grab a careless kid to grab. Careless kids get caught. Careful kids do not.
