Journals of Lewis and Clark Part 2

Recreates and dramatizes scenes from the 1804-1806 expedition of Meriwether Lewis and William Clark, from St. Louis to the Pacific Ocean and back. Describes their journey by keelboat, horseback, and dugout canoe from the mouth of the Missouri River to the shores of the Pacific Ocean. Details accounts of the accidents, incidents, and dealings with the Indians, and dramatizes their discoveries. Uses words from their journals as basis for much of the presentation.

Notable: describes Sacagawea, suggests Lewis and Clark Natives desired they lead communities (says they were asked to lead buffalo hunters and birth a baby), describes in at least one place the barbaric sexual practices of Native tribes.
