principle involved here which has to do with every business even selling old things it's probably in the Bible you mean God even tells us how to run a business that's right listen the lord requires fairness in every business deal he established this principle but we work fair mother aren't you supposed to get the most you can out of anything not if someone doesn't know the truth about what they're buying Mrs putter should know that the clock doesn't work then if she wants to pay what you ask for it that's fine but you must not let her think something that isn't true I see what you mean and we should have asked you about the phonograph that's right Tad it was not yours or jots to sell it belonged to my grandfather and that made it very special to me you know some things money cannot buy or replace like me yes dear you know one of my favorite Bible verses says a good name is rather to be chosen than great riches your names are at stake when you don't conduct your business fairly that's right Mrs pter will think we cheated her chot we'd better give some refunds in our business right tat let's start with the photograph yeah then we can go to Mrs Putter's house where you going now you selling those things too no Pig we needed to give some refunds sometimes good for business you know and pick before you sell anything there are a few um uh business principles you'll need to about everything tell God your needs and don't forget to thank him for his answers if you do this you will have God's peace which will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet as you trust in Christ Jesus daddy would you please pray for tip and for me sure will son father we thank you for the promise to give us your peace if we trust in you please protect jots dog tip from all harm and return him to us if it is your will we pray for jot that you will help him sleep peacefully as he trusts in you thank you for answering our prayers in Jesus name I pray amen good night dear good night son what's the matter Jos tip is lost I can't find him anywhere well let's think the last time I saw him we were getting the ball out of the tree right and the last time I saw him was when I got the rake P you having trouble with our car and we needed to have some work done on it but we couldn't do without it long enough to have it fixed what happened we asked God to help us get the car running again and well it was funny what happened a day or two after that our neighbor asked daddy to take care of their house while they were out of town so that was the funny part they left their car at home and asked my daddy to drive it some so that strangers would know they were gone [Music] neat and that's how we got our car running [Laughter] again I remember another time tat my grandmother fell and broke her hip and God made that hip well so fast great but later she got real sick didn't you pray for her oh yes but we also asked God to do what he thought was best she was very old what happened she died oh but that was all right Tad mother said God knew what was best she would be happier with him and she would never be sick again after all we did ask God to do what he thought best J how do you know God did all that because tat I mean why do your parents think God works all these things out like that because mother keeps reminding us what the Bible says we know that all that happens to us is working for our good if we love God and are fitting into his plans do your folks really believe that yep and I do too come on race it to the house [Music] [Applause] come on [Music] [Applause] for what other people do but you are responsible for what you do always respect other people's property but when you see someone who isn't you have to make the best decision you can at the moment and yeah things like that I guess if you like anything more than you love God and it keeps you from doing what he wants you to do it's wrong isn't it I guess so boys are you watching TV again turn it off tat and leave it off watching TV has become too important to you that's it that's it what they're making a God out of it a man well he's right we were tat we've watched TV all day except for eating and playing it's as if that's all we want to do I guess we really didn't even want to go visiting with our Sunday school class or even learn the meanings of the Ten Commandments but now we know what the first one means right you shall have no other gods before me I'm proud of you boys now you have an excellent example for Mr Young right come on fellas oh
