Jeeter Mason would like to tap dance or play the violin. She is so afraid of failing that she does not practice either one. When she finds a magic headset, all her dreams seem to come true. She can dance up a storm and play the violin like a virtuoso. On the day of the school recital, the headset fails and Jeeter is taught a hard lesson. In this contemporary fable, she learns the importance of practicing - the hard way.
