at that stage in tech making very shoes in the shoe maker sharpness refrain would never stop but it kept awake putting all the date at his bench there was he in just as busy as a bee little time to lose for the boots and shoes then he tapped and he spits for his fingers will be with them so dreams in what we see making shoes [Music] sure apparent to me is a living bullets honest sport it's honest work and hard work and from day to day you just you just don't know once you open up the door that door you don't know what to expect every day is the different challenge in this business the average person today doesn't like his job isn't happy all you enjoy coming to work in the morning because it's a challenge that's why I like my work I like working with my hands a lot of my customers to take my advice in there and shoot with a lot of customers have faith in my work usually when they come in they give me the bag and say please take care of whatever it needs it need because they know I'll do a good job today it is modern machinery and there's a whole different way of fix issues when you finish your pair of shoes at least today you did notice the difference the shoe looks no it doesn't look like it's been repaired [Music] well when I first started in this business my father saw me as John he says you have to take a trade they says this is a good trade it's good at anything he says because don't forget you have to remember one thing people are always walking and as long as they're walking you'll be working and he says just take a little pride in your work and you'll be a success well although I've been saved and I talked to my son John that in the future this is gonna be good trade Austin I want to listen to me but little by little if pure honest ahead the one the trade and they I want to say that become a solid profession and on the Cairo [Music] when I'm working on a pair of shoes I feel it's like living the life I take my heart and soul as did I shoe and I treat it just like it was my own and I make a good job of it and I do the best I could the best of my ability the best of my craft shoe repair me is more than just fixing a pair of shoes it takes a lot of work a lot of know-how some people just don't understand what goes into it they think that's all it is is just banging on a hammer and that's it or banging on a pair of shoes and put the nail in issue but it takes more to it than just that there's not too many shoe repair men around today opening up doors or anything because what's the old-timers go on that's it what remains is an empty stall with a lock on it I think today more young kids should go into this business or they should have school soon to learn the trade because it's a good trade after all I mean like I said you we all can't be doctors or lawyers all you're my success to my father because when I was young I never wanted to pick up a hammer or read a book or nothing I was just like every other kid assisting his old stand on a cause but today I think my father to bring me into this shows how that is more to life than just a knock on I feel like playing an important role in society because what I do a pair of shoes and they come out night I know the average guy outside can't do the same either that's why I feel in court I feel like I wanted the average person hasn't got the crest I had it's all in my hands shoemaker today will always be you'll need them today you know you'll need them years to come because as long as people are walking you're wearing shoes and as long as they're wearing shoes you're going to need somebody's assessment and that's me in the shoe maker shoplift refrain would never stop but he kept awake putting all the date at his bench there was he just as busy I had to be little time to lose for the boots and shoes then he tapped and he spits all his fingers will be with day so the dream is let me see making shoes are so neat just my pageant honor people I hope she'd know but I lost her soul
