Description: Short travelogue focusing on the island of Ceylon (now Sri Lanka). We are briefly introduced to various customs of the locals, and we see footage of activities such as fishing, the use of elephants to aid in heavy work, lacemaking and the coconut harvesting. Contains footage of 1930s Colombo.
