Shows varied climates on the island and a diversity of life forms. Features several species of lemur, both large and small: brown, ruffled, aye-aye, ringtail, Indiri and Propithecus. Most of the forest on the island has been burned off to clear the land for other uses. With this destruction of habitat, the lemurs and other life forms on the island, have been seriously diminished in number
