Description: A new girl worker is told how to do a job on the drill press. She fails to master the job and is then shown how to do it. This does not work and in distress she leaves the machine. The supervisor then does a careful job of instructing the next girl, who becomes a competent operator. Points out the difference between telling, showing, and instructing.
