Complete Record: One of Pierre Etaix's comedy shorts. He plays a man who, being unable to sleep, picks up a book from his bedside table and begins to read. At first he is bored, but as he flicks over the pages, the story, a tale of vampires, begins to fascinate him. As he reads he becomes more and more involved, conjuring up the details of the story in his mind and reacting to minor incidents, movements and noises in the bedroom. Finally, at dawn, having finished the book, he falls asleep. At that stage his wife wakes up, revealing a pair of vampire fangs as she leans over him....
