Tells the story of an average young man who, upon losing his job, intelligently studies his personal characteristics and abilities in order to find a suitable position. From a newspaper he selects a job for which he is suited and prepares himself for applying. Shows a personnel manager interviewing several applicants who illustrate proper and improper techniques of seeking a job.
