Description: Demonstrates, through animation, the communication gap in a large manufacturing company. Focuses on Mitt Mittle, a stocky cigar-smoking foreman who is frustrated with his workers for not understanding his orders and explanations. Shows how, under pressure to increase production, Mitt gets more and more unclear until his workers ignore his advice entirely and solve their problems themselves. Concludes as Mitt receives praise for the production increase and, although surprised, convinces himself that it was because he "told 'em exactly how to do it."
