Directed by Ralph Arlyck and sponsored by the Hyde Park Visual Environment Committee
Explores the issues involved in the transition of a small, historic Hudson River town, home of the Roosevelts and Vanderbilts at the turn of the century, from a genteel village to an increasingly garish area of strip zoning. Looks at the struggles among outraged environmentalists, advocates of unfettered development, and flamboyant politicians as they fight battles typical of those being waged in other areas throughout America
