Description: Uses live-action photography and drawings to show the parts of a typical flower, pollination, growth following fertilization, and various kinds of flowers. Points out the main parts of a common plant and, by drawings and live photography, pictures the parts of a flower - sepals, petals, stamens, and pistil. Presents additional drawings of stamen and pistil parts and the growth of the pollen tube to the ovary following live-action photography of bee pollination. Explains the flower parts of different plants may vary in appearance.
