From the past to the present, the public library is portrayed as an arsenal of ideas from past history into the future. Depicts the vital role of the written word in the life of man, his culture, and his future. From the Pharaohs of Egypt, through the many wars, and into the space age, the library is seen as a free place of choice where each person can find or lose his way.
