This home movie captures a 1950s family's holiday celebrations and summer activities. It begins with a handmade sign on a table, a child in a dress walking around an auditorium, and a woman singing and playing the piano in a church. Women in fancy dresses model and pose in the church auditorium. The family is then seen on their front lawn carrying Easter baskets and playing with a puppy, as well as picnicking and playing baseball. The movie then follows the family on a trip to Niagara Falls, where they witness the waterfalls and a wild west town, and also to a river where they fish and the adults waterski. Back at home, the family decorates the Christmas tree, hangs stockings on the fireplace, and opens presents. Finally, the family plays in the snow, building snowmen and throwing snowballs.
