[Home Movies CHM HUB 17 MISC 9]

This 1940s home movie depicts a military parade in a city with soldiers carrying rifles, flags, and instruments, women in uniform carrying flags, men in kilts playing instruments, and Boy Scouts carrying flags. Soldiers ride horses and jeeps with anti-aircraft guns. The flag is flown at half staff and military cadets stand with instruments on the street. The parade then moves to a crowded stadium with soldiers marching in formation and a military marching band performing. Also present are women in historical costumes and men in Native American and Chinese Dragon costumes, with horse-drawn carriages and floats of elaborate buildings, giant animals, and a water wheel. At the end, officers inspect the cadets and the young cadets line up and stand at attention.
