Description: Moments in the lives of an Ohio family with Czech heritage from several years in the 1960s. Includes news footage filmed off television of the 1968 invasion of Czechoslovakia by the Soviet Union. The family takes a few trips, notably to Lion Country Safari in Florida with lions walking around the family car. On other trips the camera captures atmospheric moments in aviation (a flight to the Lake Erie Islands on Island Airlines's iconic Ford Trimotor aircraft N7684 before its 1972 crash), on muddy tarmacs, and on rainy days. Scenes from around the home include playing with a captive wild baby bird, and harvesting grapes from a back yard grape arbor.
