Complete Record: Description: Detroit-area families celebrate a wedding all in pink at the end of this compilation reel that opens with a funeral service. Between these landmark events families celebrate a child's birthday, a summer trip to a lakeshore with swimming and playing, and other family moments. Photography of storms, flooding, snow, icicles, and the March 7, 1970 solar eclipse form a natural science centered series of sequences in the middle of the reel. In this assembly reel that mostly documents events in the lives of a Black family, the camera may also have been shared between Black and white families.
