Description: Nine years after the end of World War I, a Rotary club trip takes part in Armistice observations in Belgium and Holland, including a shipboard memorial service and commemorative street parades and club ceremonies. Western Europe city streets in the interwar years host bicycles, streetcars, motorcars, and horse-drawn and dog-drawn wagons. Also seen are women making fishing nets and lace by hand using classic techniques, and the elaborate Beaux-Arts architecture of the Ostende waterfront that was destroyed in World War II.
