Description: Captures the contributions and hardships of Japanese Americans since the early 1900s. Features actor - director Robert A Nakamura as feisty Oda, one of the elderly single laborers of Los Angeles' Little Tokyo. Traces his life as a laborer on the transcontinental railroad and as a community leader struggling to save the homes of Little Tokyo residents from redevelopment. Includes performances by Pat Morita and the late Yuki Shimoda. Directed by Nakamura and Duane Kubo.
