Celebrates the historic Matisse Centennial held in Paris in 1970. The paintings, collages and sculpture enable the viewer to trace the artist's stylistic development. The exhibition included over 250 works several of which were seen outside the Soviet Union for the first time. Features live footage of Matisse at work on his designs for the Chapel at Vence.
