Equipment ranges from specialized items like this electronic listening post to standard radio gear. The value of vehicles of course cannot be overestimated. Here you see a riot control agent disperser mounted on a quarterton truck. This vehicle has been field modified to provide added protection when used in riot control. A wooden frame covered with barbed wire has been placed on the front bumper. The frame is angled slightly forward to prevent rioters from attempting to climb the wire to attack the vehicle. This particular design has not been standardized armywide but is one of several which can be successfully used.
