Description: Harry, pound dog D for dirty, depressed and desperate to find a home, is delighted when the Dobson children, Scott and Heather, convince their parents to adopt him. Mrs. Hildebrand, the Dobsons' cantankerous next-door neighbor and her devious cat Isabel, are displeased with Harry's arrival and conspire against him. The Dobsons are very happy with their new addition until Harry chews up the sofa pillows and steals a chicken leg from the dining room table. Isabel exacerbates the situation by putting Harry's toy in the garbage causing the dog to overturn the trash can. Mrs. Hildebrand embarks on a smear campaign telling the neighbors what an uncivilized canine Harry is. Harry's howling at the moon prompts the Dobsons to enroll him in dog discipline school. Failing to conform, Harry leads an escape with a few canine inmates. Returning home, Harry is terrorized by Isabel but retaliates by chasing her straight into the path of movers unloading Mrs. Hildebrand's new player piano. The runaway piano crashes and Mrs. Hildebrand is furious. After this unfortunate misadventure, Harry is tied up. Mrs. Hildebrand's second piano also eludes the movers, this time with Isabel inside. Harry breaks free from his bonds and rescues his feline tormentor. Harry's valor makes him a media star. Despite Mrs. Hildebrand's continued enmity, Harry is now a bona fide member of the Dobson household.
