Description: In this 1960s marketing film produced by the Dallas-based Bill Stokes Associates for Haggar Slacks, President E.R. Haggar explains what the company is doing to help retailers and distributors sell more product. In addition to building two factories in South Texas and expanding its Dallas service and computer center, Haggar also launched a new service plan to ensure stores make a 50 percent or more markup annually. He then highlights new examples of Haggar television advertising. E.R. Haggar was president of the Dallas-based clothing company from 1948 to 1971 and chairman of the board from 1971 to 1991.
