Narrated by Brian Blessed; produced by the BBC
Documents the face Poland exhibits to the ouside world by focusing on the withdrawn, elusive nature of the inhabitants of the bustlng city of Krakow. Searches for the "other Poland" via a journey by train to the country and to the mountains, where Poles enjoy physical and emotional freedoms unimagined in the cities. Through this contrast, the smoldering spirit of the people of the city, this time Warsaw, becomes recognizable
