A documentary on the Griswold Machine Works and its employees, made shortly before the company went out of business in 1978. Includes a history of the company, located in Port Jefferson, New York, which began as a small general machine shop in a vaudeville theater and eventually turned to making motion picture film splicers in response to the needs of an adjoining movie theater.
