Jan discovers that there's more to changing jobs than just giving two weeks notice. She learns how to objectively evaluate her present job before making a decision, how to find new job leads, and how to properly resign from her old job., Follows Jan, who dislikes her present job, as she learns to make wise decisions and to locate a new job. Uses flashbacks to show how she and her roommate discuss the pros and cons, define why Jan wants to quit, and decide upon what she wants to do. Records Jan going to the library to use newspapers, the telephone directory, and reference books to locate job openings.
